I still plan to insert many images of Conservation treatments--- details of Damages and 'areas of concern'; but I have reservations about exposing that to the World Wide Web...( and if you knew how long it takes me to build a website, wheww!). I highly respect my clients trust, confidence, and reliance in me and although I have taken millions of classified images from over the last 20 years, (so many interesting detailed photographs of conservation treatments, damages and repairs....at this time I will hold-off from showing them all to the general public. Suffice to say, they make the damages of the artworks look really bad, I use raking light shots, transmitted light, reflective light, U.V. light as well as macro and microsciopic close ups and odd angles to document the condition. Please contact me to verbally explain various damages and types on conservation issues. Someday, I would like to give private tours explaining works of art and their structure, layering and surfaces concerns. Perhaps later I will insert images of Public Works (images which are open to our public digital cameras) to show examples of surfaces and conservation type areas-of-concern.
